You can get a job in Corp' America in order to have income and benefits, while slowly building a client base. Then when you have money in the bank, a substantial amount of clients/income, (all your "ducks in a row") you can quit your regular job to consult full-time. It's up to you how you do it, and only after you make the decision and time has passed will you be able to see if it worked or didn't. Such is life, taking leaps and/or little tiny baby steps. You are doing everything you should, as you are still looking for full-time employment, taking steps to start your on company, reading books, researching, talking to people yada3. Love ya!
