Isn’t big government great keeping us safe from relief of our allergy symptoms.
It is very true about the meth labs and Oklahoma is the Meth Lab Capitol of American. In history Oklahoma was also the home of illegal still’s during that time in American History when alcoholic beverages where illegal.
I hope this time of year will pass for you soon. Maybe next year you will buy these items a month in advance and stock up.

I haven’t ever had to give my license for medication. Maybe it’s because I just get the off brand stuff, or maybe it’s just been that long since I’ve bought meds.

It’s not so much that you are flagged as a druggie, but as a drug dealer. Pseudoephedrine (main ingredient of Sudafed) is also abused by those who use it to make methamphetamines. Several States enacted laws after spikes in consumer sales in 2004-2005. Snopes.com even has an article posted about pseudoephedrine and drug dealers http://www.snopes.com/photos/crime/drugmoney.asp, and other states have enacted the pharmacy tracking requirements.
